I encourage people to become aware of their inner self, enabling them to navigate their way through the obstacles that life presents. I nurture and guide with compassion and understanding, creating a mirror that allows clients to reflect on their own strength.
I regularly hear from people who feel hopeless, helpless, or overwhelmed. As a therapist with over two decades experience my goal is to help you create coping skills for issues such as depression, anxiety, or trauma, to aid you on a journey to recovery. When people find themselves in a dark emotional place, I guide them back to the light.
I have considerable experience working with individuals and groups in the mental health field. Currently, I work with individuals with mental health disorders and emotional conflicts who want to learn how to find stability and start moving forwards again. For many years I worked as the leader of a partial hospitalization program in a psychiatric hospital, where I educated patients regarding their mental health disorders. I also held the position of director of an intensive outpatient program. Altogether, my experience has helped me develop a sensitive and proactive approach to managing mental health crises and given me a broad knowledge of the treatments and interventions that can be employed.
I was born in Australia, grew up in England - where I received my basic education, and moved to the USA as an adult - where I pursued a higher education and trained as a therapist. Always working inclusively, with a diverse array of clients, I have developed an awareness of ethno-cultural differences within the mental health arena.

Presently, I offer only virtual therapy sessions.
